An update regarding ancillary data access is now available on the latest version of Polymer, now available on github.
https://github.com/hygeos/polymer
Please also check section 2.2.1 of the readme for setting up the .netrc file.

- PRISMA processing support
- various code optimizations, in particular of the experimental processing mode
- Fix an error to access the Earthdata API
- MSI: allow using embedded ECMWF auxiliary data

It means that a code for reading the data should be written. These files are the Level1* files in the polymer folder. I don't know the structure of L9 data, but I doubt that it will involve the program "L8_angles", which purpose is to generate the geometric data (sun and view angles) for Landsat8. C...
