per-pixel Uncertainty in OLCI Rrs

Hi, François

I have a question regarding the pixel-based uncertainty estimation of the POLYMER derived Rrs at each band of OLCI. Is this information currently available for the POLYMER AC, especially for case 2 waters?

Re: How to add land overlay map to POLYMER processed OLCI Image

Hi Francois, Actually, I don't want to compare. The problem is the in-situ location points are not correctly pointing in the image. The points are lying far away from the actual point. You can see the figure I attached in the last reply. I try to do this in R. The image is CRS projected as well. Eve...

Re: How to add land overlay map to POLYMER processed OLCI Image

Hello Francois, As per your suggestion, I applied a CRS projection to the POLYMER processed image and again did the same thing, however, it did not work. I assume projection to a regular grid means giving a proper CRS projection to the image right? Or Is there something else I must do? If yes can yo...

How to add land overlay map to POLYMER processed OLCI Image

Hi Francois, I processed my level 1 OLCI Image with POLYMER and then I tried to give a land overlay to this Image, but for some reason, the orientation of the POLYMER processed and land overlay map are not matching. See this figure https://forum.hygeos.com/download/file.php?mode=view&id=101 I tried ...

Re: What is Bitmask 2112

Hi Francois,

I simply add band 674 nm band in the self.bands_rw = [400,412,443,490, 510, 560, 620, 665, 674, 681, 709, 754, 779, 865, 1020] unde the defaults_olci(self) in params.py.

It worked finally.

Re: What is Bitmask 2112

Hello Francois/ I was wondering, how can I get the OLCI 674 nm band? Polymer is usually not giving this band right? So could you please tell me know how can I get this band. Do I need to add any lines in params.py or any other python file? I hope adding this new band will not affect the atmospheric ...

Re: What is Bitmask 2112

Hi Francois,

We would like to test the product without raising Inconsistency, Thick Aerosol and Case-2 flags. So to do that which line should be modified in this file "common.py".

Best

Re: What is Bitmask 2112

Hi Francois, We are doing some test using different versions of POLYMER and we are wondering If there is a way to avoid (not activate) the use of some flags. Is it possible to do this in POLYMER by changing some lines in the script? If yes, which is the python file name to look for and what should b...

Re: What is Bitmask 2112

Hi Francois, For the quality control of OLCI A remote sensing reflectance (Rrs), I understood is that the recommended flags to be rejected are all flags with values strictly less than 1024 (the first 10 bits), which does not include CASE2 right? Is that so? A few of my pixels are raised with Thick A...
